Just Dropped: Samba Celtic

adidas and terrace style – a winning combo for decades.

At the heart of the partnership is the Samba. First dropping in 1950 as a football shoe built to tackle the icy and snowy pitches in Germany’s winters, this line-up leader has had a long-standing history with the beautiful game.

Relaunching in ’72 as the sneaker we know it today, the 3-Stripes has joined forces with Celtic to drop a fresh look in The Bhoys’ colours.

Inspired by the home shirt, the White underlays of synthetic and cow leather are paired with a Bold Green suede T-toe, serrated 3-Stripes on the sidewalls and a padded heel tab.

The low-profile silhouette mixes a cushioned insole with a retro Gum 4 rubber outsole and vintage tread, made for the concourse, the park or the streets.

Hoops Heritage

It’s not just the colourway that shouts Celtic. The iconic Four-Leaf Clover is printed in place of the Trefoil on the tongue, while the club’s name swaps in for the foil Samba wordmark on the left shoe.

These subtle, Celtic-inspired changes make the Samba the perfect matchday mate.

Whether they’re paired with a retro shirt or this season’s, it doesn’t matter. The look is timeless.
